Ericsson Smart Authentication IOT
This app provides a use case to experience how operators can expand connectivity and communication services towards Internet of Things (IoT), by providing secure and automatic authentication for non-SIM based devices. The app shows how these Smart Authentication capabilities, enabled by User Data Consolidation (UDC), make it possible to connect to the Operators’ networks the personal IoT devices without any SIM inside, leveraging on Wifi access and digital certificate.
End users will be able to control the status of personal devices connected to the network and the Operators can expose unique insights about the joint view of the profiles of the end users and their personal devices.
