Smart Meter as a Service
Ericsson Smart Metering as a Service is a managed services oriented solution that Ericsson sells to utility companies. It includes Smart Meter data collection functions that collects and store metering values. Utilities get high-quality (validated) metering data that can be used for billing the customer, delivered according to a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
The SMaaS solution represents outsourcing of complex, e2e Smart Metering business process. The demo describes three core processes (Meter to Cash-validated data, Case to Resolve, and Order to Service).
